925 Silver

925 sterling silver is a precious metal composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy, typically copper, which gives it strength while preserving its natural luster. Over time, silver naturally reacts with air and moisture, which can lead to tarnishing. This is a normal and reversible process, not a defect.

Store in a dry place, ideally in an airtight pouch or box, away from humidity and direct sunlight
Wear regularly, as natural skin oils can help slow tarnish formation
Avoid contact with water, perfume, lotions, and household chemicals
Remove before swimming, showering, exercising, or cleaning
Clean gently with a soft, dry polishing cloth after wear
For deeper cleaning, use a mild silver cleaning solution or professional polishing when needed

Any future results from wear can be polished back to its original brightness or kept for a more muted finish depending on preference.

14K Gold Plated

14k gold plated jewelry features a thin layer of 14k gold applied over a base metal. This finish gives the appearance of solid gold while remaining more delicate in nature. With time and wear, the plating will naturally soften and gradually fade, especially in high-friction areas. This is an expected characteristic of the material.
